VARIETY OF DISHES
Each dish has its own flavor and exotic taste. The national dish of Ethiopia is a spicy stew called Wot.
Wot may be made from beef, lamb, chicken or even lentils, chickpeas and vegetables, but it always contains spicy Berbere (red chill peppers). Alicha is a less-spicy stew seasoned with red onion, olive oil, garlic and turmeric.
ETHIOPIAN BREAD OR INJERA
Injera is a sour and spongy round bread made out of Teff flour and it's served with almost all Ethiopian dishes. Injera is a good source of iron, fiber and protein. We offer Teff injera and white rice as gluten-free options. Almost all of our main dishes are gluten-free. True Ethiopian Cuisine uses a combination of wheat, barley and Teff Injera. We also have 100% gluten free Teff Injer, please order in advance.
